How Etsy fees are calculated
Profit = item price + shipping charged − listing − transaction − processing − Offsite Ads − cost of goods − shipping cost.
The shipping the buyer paid is inside Etsy's fees. The shipping you pay the carrier is not.
Worked example
A $25.00 item with $5.00 shipping charged, $6.00 cost of goods, and $4.00 to ship. With a 15% Offsite Ad, profit drops to $12.20.
